SEEING RED
There are many anti-Catholic people out there...All fine and dandy they are entitled to believe what they want. But there is one in particular here on Xanga who mocks the Eucharist. She has blocked me from her site so I cannot post in defence but if you are a Catholic and would like to defend Jesus true presence in the Eucharist go to her site. I would love for us to stand up against such vile hatred.
Here is what she posted in response to another Catholic.
"I guess Catholics have to be continually filled with something since their faith is not real. When one is empty, then they have to keep filling up. I guess your Jesus is eaten and drank and you digest him and dispose of him out the bottom and then you have to be filled again."

Actually I imagine any Christian who participates in the Lord's Supper at their church would be offended. If you are not Catholic and feel this is wrong you may want to confront her as well. If you agree with her I am sorry. I think she is WRONG

i dont understand anti catholics. my boyfriend is a catholic and i am a protestant who is going to be taking classes later this year to become catholic. i think that people need to be more respectful of the religion.
Thanks, I am Catholic obviously. But my Husband is Baptist. We make it work. This lady just has a very vengeful and rebellious spirit. She hates the Catholic Church and any organized denominational Christian religion.
Words can not describe how deeply discusting her blasphemies are. It is disturbing how insulting someone can be to the most Sacred Gift Christ left us, Himself. THe hurtful filth she has pasted on her site reveal the degree of her prejudice, mindless, and disrespectful behavior. With such attacks raged against our Christ we must truly be reminded of the worlds hatred and the great darkness of heresey. We should all say a prayer for her that our infinitely loving God will send her the Grace necessary to realize the degree of her blasphemy and repent to our Savior.

I'm wondering if the Bride has consecrated herself to OUR Lord because such expressions are not the mark of charity. How dare we rely on accurate history to remain true to Him? or listen to the Church which He established and built upon Kepha? and is leading us into all truth with His Holy Spirit, the Three in One Blessed Trinity. ( BTW, where is the word "trinity" in the Bible? ....is the word "pre-millenialism" there? what about The Rapture- where's that, huh? and upon which rock is the pre-millenialism and the rapture built? We Christians need to be working to be on the same page for the love of Christ to be seen by the world because all the splinter fragments of independent churches is a poor, un-unified example of what HE desires. What, we must ask in all honesty, is YOUR denomination doing about this? He prayed that all may be one. Currently, it doesn't seem like many are heeding Christ's will. Let us pray and work for the love of Christ and one another. May charity prevail with truth. In thanksgiving for the mercy I so undeservedly have been receiving.

Very true, few will be convinced by such obviously prejudiced arguements that do no justice to the reality of Catholic doctrine. Personally, I just find it all very sad for her. The anti-Catholic propoganda that she is promoting only reveals her ignorance of the Catholic faith, and any Catholic with a brain will see through her weak arguements. The evangelization that Christ talked of was one out of love, not hatred, and as you pointed out she is clearly acting out of hatred. It's just so sad, because she really doesn't undertand the Catholic faith, she has such a twisted view of what Catholicism is. She will never see it's beauty and Glory, for that I am sorry for her.

Your correct, there is alot of Truth in the Bible that is not clearly revealed, but implied. Aside from the Trintiy, the word "Bible" also doesn't appear in the Bible lol, I figured I'd add that to the list. Non-Catholic Christianity hopelessy contradicts Scripture, history, and logic. "the Brides" activities only reveal the irrational and pathetic behavior of it all.

I'll check out this lady's site, but I can't promise I will have much to say. I get defensive to an uncharitable degree sometimes, which doesn't help anyone. I can, however, get my husband to take a look too. He's much better at things like that. And he's brilliantly educated in Catholic theology.
You won't get anywhere with people like that, in my experience, even if you're nice. That kind of anti-Catholicism takes direct divine intervention.
We can plant the seeds of doubt and as she ponders and questions, the truth will come, so long as she really wants GOD"S TRUTH and not her own version. PRAYER goes a long way too. We CAN do that much for her.
